For Father's Day this year, Oswald got tickets to see the Atlanta Braves take on the Arizona Diamondbacks. I must admit that I was really hoping the Diamondbacks would win, but sadly they didn't even show up to play.
We arrived super early and found out seats...the kids thought the ballpark was a pretty cool place.
You would have thought Oswald had died and gone to heaven. He was like a kid in a candy shop. He got to teach my Buddy all about America's favorite pastime.
The little three kids should have been left home. By the end of the first inning my Princess was asking if it was over! She was in for a long night. When it was over, I asked her if she had fun and she said, "That was AWESOME!!"
My Little Man was fit-to-be-tied by 8pm...the game just started at 7!! But my Buddy had the best time ever! He said his favorite thing was the "Tomahawk chop!"
All in all, we had a good time. I love being in a ballpark. There's just something about the atmosphere and the crowd. All I needed were some peanuts and crackerjacks and it would have been perfect!
You are making me very homesick for Atlanta. Did you guys ride the MARTA to the game? That was Caroline's favorite part.
ReplyDeleteWe did not ride the MARTA, we're so silly because we could have saved money in a lot of ways!! But we'll know better for next time! :)
