There gets to be a point in each child's life where I dread wiping their diaper butt. I feel like I'm wiping a grown mans bottom when I wipe this kids rear end.
A couple of weeks ago, I sat him on the potty thinking maybe I would put him on there and he would play and get off. Well, I walked away to get him a book and when I came back, he looked up at me and said, "I drop one in the potty, Mommy!"
He was so proud of himself! But I was a little scared. My Princess was a nightmare to potty train. She didn't want to do it until it was her idea. Then once she decided to do it she was good to go.
I also thought 22 months was a little young to be serious about going in the Big Boy Potty. But last night he asked to go potty and did his business. This morning he asked to go to the potty and did more business. He does #2 and has no problems. It's the #1 that is going to be hard.
I'm not gonna lie, this is going to be a challenge, but Oswald and I are both game to try now while he's excited about it. While he's asking to go potty.
So if my posts for the next week seem a little stressed or have a whole lot of potty talk...this is why...
How old were your kids when they potty trained? Am I crazy for trying to train so young? He's 2 years and 2 days old!
